Can you believe it’s autumn already! It is still hot though. We do not have air conditioning in our apartment, so my boyfriend made a cooler out of a tub, a vent, and a fan. With bottles of ice water in it, it keeps us cool. We laughingly call it the “redneck cooler”.
I realized that I haven’t done a posts about nails for a while and I hope you are okay with that. I tried to catch a basket of falling clothes and cracked three nails. My thumb nail is almost broken down into the skin. I’m trying to hang on to it as long as possible.
In this Plan With Me I did a month spread for September as well as a week spread called Floral. Although I filmed it Sunday I didn’t get around to editing it until this morning. This week I tried something different. I completed the spread in both the MAMBI Happy Planner and the Erin Condren Life Planner so that you could see both layouts. I tried to do them differently so you can see how the pieces could be used to create different looks. There are eight sheets of stickers in each kit and I don’t use all of them in each spread. There are a lot of different combinations that are possible with the stickers provided in each kit.
This September is colorful and features fuchsia. The words in the banner and special occasion boxes is a warm, golden beige. The patterns are varied and include polkadots, diamonds, and chevrons. It is a very bright and cheerful layout to send off the summer and bring in the fall.
Floral is a pink and peach spread with flowers and scrolls. I love peach and pink together. They play off of each other well. The black flowers and scrolls pop off the page.
This is the one that I did in both sizes and two different looks. In the Erin Condren Life Planner I used the checklist flags and the half-boxes. In the MAMBI Happy Planner I used the ombre boxes.
Just a reminder, that these stickers are available in my online shop at http://stickitinyourplanner.etsy.com.
